Amnyemachen and Nyenpoyurtse in Golog are the most sacred mountains in Amdo. On special occasions Tibetans make their ‘Kora’ (circumambulation) pilgrimage to these mountains especially Mt. Amyemachen when it is the Horse-Year (2014) A complete Kora on foot requires 7-8 days

There are two pass on the Kora path; each pass is about 4000m.
How many hours walk for each day?
Each day about 5-6 hours walk, depending on your speed
Do I need to bring my first aid with me?
Yes, recommended.
Do we have horses or Yaks to ride when we cross the rivers or in case
At least two horses and two Yaks are arranged for the Kora tirp.
Do we need warmer clothes?
Wind jacket and Raincoat, thick soaks, trekking boots are recommended. It gets cold during the night
Do we need to bring sleeping bags with us?
Because of the sizes, qualities, sanitation etc we recommend you to bring it with you
