Highlights: Mt. Amnye Machen, Mt. Nyenpoyurtse, Kyaring and Ngrang lakes, Nomads etc. Al most all Tibetan communities or villages have their own mountains with spirits and Mt. Amnyemachen and Nyenpoyurtse in Golog are the most sacred mountains in Amdo. On special occasions Tibetans make their ‘Kora’ (circumambulation) pilgrimage to these mountains especially Mt. Amyemachen when it is the Horse-Year (2014) A complete Kora on foot requires 7-8 days

Each day about 5-6 hours walk, depending on your speed Yes, recommended. At least two horses and two Yaks are arranged for the Kora tirp. Wind jacket and Raincoat, thick soaks, trekking boots are recommended. It gets cold during the night Because of the sizes, qualities, sanitation etc we recommend you to bring it with you
